Opie, a handsome red-and-black mix with soulful eyes, came to DARE in 2021 alongside his best friend Spike after being rescued from Jacksonville Animal Care and Protective Services. At 10 years old, Opie’s gentle and loyal nature quickly won everyone’s hearts. As a Forever Foster, Opie gets to enjoy his golden years surrounded by the love and care he truly deserves. Whether he’s lounging peacefully or staying close to his best friend Spike, Opie’s days are filled with comfort, companionship, and endless affection under DARE’s loving wing.
