Maxi
As it was written in his little bio, Maxi was found “wandering the streets of San Mateo with a hernia.” Living in the San Francisco Bay Area at the time, I was looking for a dachshund to rescue. As it turns out, Maxi rescued me. I always told him that he was “my angel from heaven, sent down to take care of me.” He was such a personality…so sweet, so quirky, so special. I took him everywhere, and people just gravitated to him…he touched many many lives in the short time he was on this earth. He was a sweet, gentle and brave soul. He taught me so much about life… I was blessed with 13 beautiful years with my little Max, and my life is ever-changed. He is with all the other angels now but he lives on in my heart.
