Surrender Information
Often people feel they must give up their pets for various reasons.
First and foremost, remember that pets are living creatures that have the emotional capacity to understand fear, love, pain, loneliness, and joy.
If you have recently adopted a pet or have a young puppy, remember that acclimation to the family and learning the new expectations can take from a few weeks to even a year. Make sure to give your pet, yourself, and your family time to acclimate to each other before moving forward with surrendering your pet.
Above all, please DO NOT place ads on social media platforms for your pet – animals oftentimes end up in a far worse situation dealing with abuse and neglect.
