At DARE, we only post dogs on our website once they are ready to find their forever homes. However, we have many more dachshunds in our care, including forever fosters, who are currently going through medical vetting and evaluations. 

As we prepare the dogs for adoption, we look at the applications we already have on file to find a match. 

In fact, many of our dogs find their new families this way without ever being listed on the website!

If you are interested in adoption, we encourage you to complete an adoption application even if you can not put a fosters name on it so that when a fit becomes available, you will already have an application on file or be approved to adopt.
