Minimum requirements to adopt from DARE

• Adopters MUST be 21 years of age or older
• All animals in the home MUST be spayed/neutered
  • Rare exceptions may be made with GOOD reason
• All animals in the home MUST be up to date on heartworm preventative and vaccines
  • Rare exceptions may be made with good reason

ADOPTION FEES

• Puppy Purebred Dachshund or Dachshund Mix (Under 1 year of age): $350
• Purebred Dachshunds (1 through 9 years old): $300
• Dachshund Mixes (1 through 9 years old): $200
• Senior Purebred Dachshunds or Dachshund Mixes (10 years or older): $150
